TunaFish hopes to inspire people to go travelling, to discover different countries, to get in contact with other cultures (and to get to know yourself).
The aim of the TunaFish initiative is to help independent travellers get in contact with quality local tourism companies. For example tour operators, travel agencies, language schools, voluntary work projects and hotels & hostels. First of all this will stimulate local economies. Next to that we believe this is the most interesting way to travel (and in most cases the cheapest way too :-)).
The TunaFish mission is to help and promote sustainable & responsible travel, to protect the environment, to preserve cultural heritage and to promote local economic development. Basically we are trying to make the world a better place to live....
By becoming a TunaSpecial member you’ll support the TunaFish initiative and mission statement. Next to that, the TunaSpecial membership gives you discounts at an increasing number of local tourism companies like tour operators, travel agencies and hotels & hostels. And last but not least: TunaSpecial members get paid for writing reviews while travelling! The TunaSpecial membership costs €15,- per year.
